Membership Terms of Use

Article 1 Definitions of Terms

  1. These terms and conditions apply to users of Poledance Studio Rubia.

  2. A member is someone who agrees to these terms and conditions and has paid the membership registration fee and membership dues.

  3. The facility refers to the Poledance Studio Rubia store.

Article 2 Scope of Application

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the store (dance studio) operated as "Poledance Studio Rubia" (hereinafter referred to as "this studio").

Article 3 Membership System

Our studio is recruiting monthly members, rental members, and share members. Anyone who wishes to join must agree to these terms and conditions and submit a membership agreement or register online.

Article 4 Eligibility for Membership

Anyone who falls under any of the following categories cannot become a member of our studio.

(1) Anyone who cannot comply with these terms and conditions and the studio's rules. (2) Anyone who cannot be confirmed as a member as stated by the applicant. (3) Anyone who the studio determines to be affiliated with a criminal organization or antisocial forces. (4) Anyone who has been prohibited from exercising by a doctor or other person. (5) Anyone who has a contagious disease or other illness that may be contagious or infectious to others. (6) Anyone who the studio determines to be unsuitable as a member.

Article 5. Entry and Exit

  1. Our studio will issue entry and exit keys to monthly members after completing the required procedures.

  2. The entrance and exit keys may only be used by the member or those authorized to use the facility, and may not be lent to third parties. In addition, only members or those authorized to use the facility are permitted to enter the facility, and entry by unauthorized persons is strictly prohibited. Violation of the entrance and exit rules will result in a fine of 30,000 yen and expulsion.

  3. When your membership is suspended, you will no longer be able to use the entrance and exit keys.

Article 6 Membership (membership registration), monthly membership fee and payment of other fees

  1. Membership (registration) fees will be charged from the "membership fee start date" when you complete the registration process.

  2. Membership registration fees and monthly usage fees will be paid by cash, credit card or bank transfer in the amount specified according to the plan selected from the date on which membership fees are incurred.

  3. To continue your membership, you must pay the amount set out in the course by the date set out in the course from the date the membership fee was incurred.

  4. If the admission (membership) fee and membership fee are not paid by the specified due date, the use of the entrance and exit keys will be suspended until payment is confirmed. In addition, if you fail to pay your membership fee without a valid reason, you will be expelled.

  5. As long as you have membership, you are obligated to pay membership fees and other charges even if you do not use the studio.

  6. Membership registration fees, membership fees and other charges received by the studio will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  7. If you rejoin after cancelling your membership, you will be required to pay the membership registration fee again.

  8. The membership (membership registration) fee includes the registration administrative fee.

  9. If you join as part of a promotional campaign and then cancel your membership, no refunds will be given for any difference in price, even if the campaign period has not yet expired.

Article 7 Compliance with Regulations

  1. Members must comply with these terms and conditions, the studio usage rules, and all other rules set by the facility. Members must follow the rules when using the facilities and equipment. Members must follow the explanations and instructions given by the studio when using the facilities.

  2. In addition, the following actions are prohibited:
    (1) Any act that libels or slanders other members or facility staff, or commits any nuisance such as violence or harassment against other members, facility staff, or visitors.
    (2) Engaging in commercial activities such as buying and selling items at the studio without permission.
    (3) Engaging in business activities, whether for profit or not, solicitation activities, religious missionary activities, election campaigning, etc.
    (4) Violence against others and acts that violate public manners and morals.
    (5) Any act that interferes with the work of our studio staff or partner employees.
    (6) Promoting lessons or other sales activities to other members or their companions
    (7) Using shoes worn outside or footwear that may damage the floor or poles (if wearing heels, be sure to wipe the soles of your shoes and use heel covers to avoid dirtying the floor)
    (8) Any other acts equivalent to those listed in this Article.

  3. When your membership is suspended, your access key will no longer be available.

Article 8 Prohibition of Entry and Expulsion

The studio reserves the right to prohibit entry or expel anyone who falls under any of the following categories.
(1) Anyone who does not comply with these terms and conditions and the studio's rules. (2) Anyone who is determined to have ties to a criminal organization or anti-social forces. (3) Anyone who has been prohibited from exercising by a doctor or other medical professional. (4) Anyone who has an infectious disease or other disease that may be transmitted or spread to others. (5) Anyone who causes trouble to others by shouting or yelling, or by inappropriate behavior. (6) Anyone who is deemed unable to use the facilities normally due to alcohol, drug use, etc. (7) Anyone who causes trouble to others by being extremely unhygienic in appearance or clothing. (8) Anyone who is deemed by the studio to be unsuitable as a user.

Article 9 Suspension of membership and withdrawal

The individual must apply for each procedure for temporary leave or withdrawal in person. In addition, if there are any outstanding fees, the procedure cannot be carried out unless all payments are made in full (i.e., all monthly fees and other dues up to the end of the month prior to the desired date).
The deadline for cancellations due to member circumstances is the 19th of each month, and cancellations will take effect from the following month.
If you have a valid reason, you can suspend your membership from the following month, with the deadline for applications being the 19th of each month. You will be exempt from paying monthly membership fees during the suspension period, but you will be required to pay a suspension fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) each month. If you wish to resume your membership after suspension, you must notify us by the 19th of the previous month and pay the monthly membership fee for the following month.

Article 10 Cancellation of reservation

If you cancel after the cancellation deadline, a cancellation fee will be charged regardless of the reason.
Cancellation fees are 100% on the day, 50% the day before, and 30% within one week. If you do not contact us and the start time has passed, it will be considered an unannounced cancellation.

Article 11 Procedures

  1. If you wish to cancel your monthly subscription or change your plan, please contact us by the 19th of each month to complete the procedure.

  2. If there are any changes to the information you provided when registering as a member, please make the necessary changes as soon as possible.

  3. When the studio notifies a member, it will be done to the most recent contact information provided by the member. If a notification is sent to the most recent contact information provided by the member, the studio will not be held responsible for any failure to deliver the notification after it has been sent.

Article 12 Suspension and Expulsion

If any of the following apply to you, we reserve the right to suspend your entry to the studio or expel you from the studio.
(1) When a member violates the contents of Article 7. (2) When a member disrupts the order of the studio or significantly damages the reputation or dignity of the studio by causing a nuisance to members or studio personnel, or by engaging in religious activities, business activities, or other activities contrary to the studio's purpose within the studio. (3) When a member violates the terms and conditions or other rules established by the studio. (4) When a member is behind on payments of membership fees or other debts and does not respond to notices from the studio or its partner employees. (5) When a member makes a false statement to the studio when joining the studio, or is found to have intentionally failed to report a violation of Article 4. (6) When a member intentionally or negligently damages the studio's facilities or fixtures. (7) When a criminal act or violation of law occurs within the studio. (8) When a member commits an act contrary to public order and good morals within the studio. (9) When the studio determines that a member has engaged in other behavior that is inappropriate for a facility user.

Article 13 Disqualification

A member will lose his/her membership status in the following cases:
(1) Withdrawal of membership; (2) Death; (3) Expulsion; (4) Closure of the studio due to serious operational reasons.

Article 14 Non-transferability of membership

Studio membership is personal to the individual and cannot be transferred, sold, loaned, transferred to a third party, pledged or used as security, or inherited or otherwise inherited.

Article 15 Revision of Membership Fees, Charges, and Usage Charges

The studio reserves the right to revise membership fees, charges, or usage fees as specified separately. In the event of any revisions to the terms and conditions, a notice will be posted in the studio or elsewhere to notify members at least one month in advance.

Article 16 Business days and business hours

Studio opening days and hours will be determined separately.

Article 17 Restrictions on use of facilities

The studio may restrict use of all or part of the facilities when deemed necessary. In such cases, the studio will notify the user at least one week in advance. However, this does not apply in the case of emergencies such as weather disasters. In addition, this will not reduce or suspend the member's obligation to pay membership fees, etc.

Article 18 Closure

Our studio may close all or part of its facilities for the following reasons:
(1) When it is determined that weather, natural disasters, etc. will affect members and make it difficult to continue business. (2) When facilities are being inspected, repaired, or renovated. (3) When an infectious disease occurs. (4) When laws and regulations are enacted, amended, or abolished, administrative guidance is given, there is a significant change in socio-economic conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances occur. (5) When the studio determines it is necessary to close for other reasons.

Article 19 Closure and modification of facilities

The studio may close or change all or part of its facilities for the following reasons:
(1) When it is determined that weather, natural disasters, etc. will affect members and it is deemed impossible to continue business. (2) When laws and regulations are enacted, amended, or abolished, administrative guidance is given, there is a significant change in socio-economic conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances occur that affect the management of the studio.

Article 20 Liability

The studio will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, injury or other accidents that occur within the studio. If the user causes damage to the facility or a third party due to causes attributable to the user, the user must promptly fulfill his/her responsibility for compensation, regardless of whether the damage was intentional or negligent.

Article 21 Prohibited Acts

(1) Using the facility commercially without permission. (2) Using the facility's trademarks (copying, commercializing, etc.). (3) Soliciting for profit or non-profit purposes (including soliciting group membership). (4) Defaming or libeling the studio (including posting on social media or other online platforms). (5) Violating public manners and morals, such as violence against studio personnel or facility users, or graffiti on facility equipment. (6) Bringing pets or animals into the studio. (7) Eating or smoking in the studio. (8) Interfering with the work of the studio or partner employees. (9) Behavior that is a nuisance to others, such as picking up girls or stalking. (10) Behavior that interferes with others' use of the facility. (11) Allowing non-members or unauthorized persons to enter without permission. (12) Allowing others to use a key without the authorization of the key holder. (13) Any other behavior equivalent to any of the items in this article.

Article 22 Dissolution

In the event of unavoidable circumstances, the studio may close by providing one month's notice.
If the reason for dissolution is a natural disaster, an act of God, an order from a public authority, coercion, or other force majeure, the preliminary period may be shortened.
In the event of the studio being closed, no special compensation will be provided to members.

Article 23 Advance Notice

Any notices or advance notices regarding these terms and conditions or the affairs of the studio will be posted in a designated area of the studio or on the studio's official website.

Article 24 Revision of these Terms and Conditions and Other Rules

The studio reserves the right to revise these terms, bylaws, terms of use, and other operational and management matters. In addition, such revisions will apply to all members.

Article 25 Entry into force

These terms and conditions will come into effect on June 1, 2022.
